NAWA® MEDICAL NAWA Hydrogel

NAWA® Hydrogel is an odorless, alcohol-free gel for cleansing, covering and moistening acute and chronic wounds.

Properties:

The NAWA® Hydrogel is used to cover and at the same time moisten dry and persistent coated wounds. It is suitable for repeated use. The NAWA® hydrogel can be used in combination with commercially available wound dressings, such as PU foams and compresses.

Application:

Rinse/Irrigate and cleanse wound first with NAWAlution to remove easy solvable contaminations. Thereafter cover the wound surface 3-5 mm thick with NAWA® Hydrogel or fill existing wound cavities.

Also wound filler, e.g. alginate or hydro fiber, can be moistened with NAWA® Hydrogel and inserted into the wound. NAWA® Hydrogel can be used in combination with customary wound dressings, e.g. PU-foams and compresses. NAWA® Hydrogel can be left on the wound till next dressing change. The treatment should be repeated till all contaminations can be removed easily and the wound seems visually clean.
