NAWA® MEDICAL Cold Sore Gel
Anyone who has ever had cold sores will be familiar with the feeling of the unpleasant blisters – they burn, tighten or itch. However, these blisters can also spread to the surrounding skin, in the oral cavity or to the nose. If you act immediately at the first signs of cold sores, you can quickly find a remedy.
NAWA® MEDICAL Cold Sore Gel is a lipid-containing gel for the treatment of herpes with blister formation in the area of the lips, as well as for improvement after a herpes eruption.
It is used to create an optimal physiological environment for healing the skin and quickly restores its necessary protective functions.
Under normal conditions, wound healing takes place at an acidic pH-value; by creating such an environment, the healing process for cold sores can also be promoted. Pain, itching and burning are alleviated and swelling is reduced. Healing is supported and the risk of scarring is reduced.

Ingredients (INCI):
Aqua purificata, Octyldodecanol, Hydrogenated Palm Glycerides, PEG Ð 200 Hydrogenated Glyceryl Palmate, Cetyl Alcohol, Hydroxypropyl Starch Phosphate, Tocopherol, Dehydroacetic Acid, Silica, Trace elements (Zinc, Iron)
The application is really simple:

Apply NAWA® MEDICAL Cold Sore Gel to the affected areas at least 5 times a day using a cotton bud. When applying the gel, cover not only the visible affected areas (blisters, redness) but also the neighbouring areas of skin. When applying the gel by hand, wash your hands thoroughly before and after application to prevent additional infection of the affected skin area (e.g. by bacteria).
In individual cases, the gel should be applied until the blisters have crusted over or healed. A treatment period of 10 days should not be exceeded. If there is still no improvement after this time, a doctor should be consulted so that the cause of the symptoms and any underlying illness requiring treatment can be diagnosed.
