Effective protection against infections
Even minor injuries can become infected by germs and bacteria if they are not treated properly. To effectively protect the wound from infection and support the natural healing process, cleaning and protection are particularly important. A clean wound is therefore the first step towards optimal healing. In addition to cleansing the wound, the sprays help to create an optimally moist and acidic environment in the wound and thus promote the physiological wound healing process.
NAWA MEDICAL Wound Spray and NAWA MEDICAL Wound Cleansing Spray remove dirt and bacteria from wounds quickly, painlessly and gently. Impurities and micro-organisms are effectively dissolved and gently rinsed out of the wound. Both contain no alcohol, do not burn and do not dry out the skin. Sticky or encrusted dressings can be moistened with the sprays to make them easier to remove.
The application is really simple:

1.
Wash hands thoroughly
Wash your hands before treatment with NAWA® Wound Spray or Wound Cleansing Spray.

2.
Spray the wound area
For all injuries, spray directly onto the wound area and repeat several times if necessary.

3.
Keep the dressing moist
Cover the injury with a bandage or band-aid and keep moist with until the wound is closed.

4.
continue treatment
with Elektrolyt-Salbe S
We recommend further treatment with NAWA® Elektrolyt-Salbe S.
The duration of application depends on the type and severity of the injury.

Principles of optimal wound healing
Wounds heal faster in a moist and acidic environment, as cell growth and migration as well as wound closure occur more quickly. This also reduces the risk of scarring.

1.
Moist wound care
creates the right conditions for healing.

2.
A low pH-value
in the wound establishes an optimal acidic environment that promotes healing and protects the wound from pathogens.

3.
The trace elements zinc and iron
stabilise our products and support the wound healing process.
