NAWA® MEDICAL Elektrolyt-Salbe S
Minor injuries or skin burns happen quickly and are part of everyday life. Whether at home or in the garden, during physical exercise, while playing or even as we get older. Abrasions, small cuts, bruises, sunburn or blisters happen all the time. With the right measures, you can support the skin’s natural healing process. Elektrolyt-Salbe S promotes this process and quickly restores the necessary protective function of the skin.
Elektrolyt-Salbe S is used to create an optimal physiological environment for healing the skin after an injury or operation.
Under normal conditions, wound healing takes place at an acidic pH-value. By creating such an environment, the healing process for minor injuries can be promoted. The unpleasant symptoms of the injury, such as pain, are alleviated and swelling reduced. The formation of new tissue is supported and the risk of scarring is reduced.
Closed injuries such as bruising, oedema or contusions also benefit from this type of treatment.
The application is really simple:

1.
Wound cleansing
Use NAWA® Wound Spray or Wound Cleansing Spray to clean abrasions or cuts immediately.

2.
Wound treatment
Then apply a generous layer of Elektrolyt-Salbe S approx. 2 mm thick over the edges of the wound.

3.

Principles of optimal wound healing
Wounds heal faster in a moist and acidic environment, as cell growth and migration as well as wound closure occur more quickly. This also reduces the risk of scarring.

1.
Moist wound care
creates the right conditions for healing.

2.
A low pH-value
in the wound establishes an optimal acidic environment that promotes healing and protects the wound from pathogens.

3.
The trace elements zinc and iron
stabilise our products and support the wound healing process.
